For Sale: 1972 Pontiac Firebird in Ft Worth, Texas for sale in Fort Worth, TX

Vehicle Description This 1972 Pontiac Firebird Restomod is a full performance custom machine with less than 2k miles since the four-year full-rotisserie restoration.
That's why the fresh red-hot look is backed up by a monster fuel-injected big block, reinforced four-speed automatic, and a beefy sports suspension.
And you'll be enjoining this growling muscle machine from the comfort of a custom A/C interior.
This one gets it's look just right.
After all, these second-gen Firebirds are where the car got to combine Pontiac's wide track stance with an extra sleek design.
There was a full restoration by the master Ken Smith, and he made sure that the body panels fit with the precision to emphasize these brawny and sleek lines.
Plus, you have all the right Trans Am pieces, like the shaker hood, fender vents, and full-width rear spoiler.
But there's something much more going on here.
There was never a red this awesome from Pontiac.
Instead it's a modern Salsa Red borrowed from an Audi.
And the classic T/A stripe package is finished in a carbon fiber style.
It tells you this is the iconic you love, but there has also been a careful eye for modern investments.
That's why the iconic Pontiac Honeycomb wheels are really modern 17-inch alloys that can hold modern performance rubber.
It's such a thoughtful package that these wheels even coordinate with the shaker poking out of the hood.
The interior continues this ideal mix of vintage pieces with well-integrated upgrades.
For example, the bucket seats have the kind of bolstering you couldn't even dream of in the 1970s, but since the pattern in the supple leather that matches the rear, it can almost pass for factory.
The carpeting, dash, door panels, headliner, and all the details feel fresh on this new build.
We especially love the look of the Ken Harrison radio that has a vintage style, but it's a modern digital AM/FM tuner with an aux input for your favorite music player.
And behind the factory A/C controls is a new system blowing cold with modern R134a.
This thoughtful build also makes sure to focus on the driver.
The iconic T/A three-spoke sports steering wheel is on a tilt column so that you can get a clean look at the other Pontiac performance icon:
the machine-turned dash.
And that was done correctly, right down to the details, like the cool tach/clock combo.
But you also notice some cool extras - from the B&M shifter to the push-button start - that remind your senses this goes further than just a cool classic experience.
Even the engine bay can't help but give you a few cool/vintage details like the correct turquoise on the block and the Keep Your GM Car All GM decal on the air grabber.
But make no mistake, there's nothing factory about this beastly motor.
It starts with Pontiac's mighty 455 cubic-inch High Output V8, and they made it LARGER with a bored.
030 over kit.
It has been enhanced and fortified including an Edelbrock D-port aluminum heads, an Edelbrock intake, and topped with a FI Tech electronic fuel injection system that you get to dial-in your ideal performance from the glovebox controller.
This is supported by all the right pieces, including cast Pontiac valve covers and a large aluminum radiator.
The motor fires up with a mighty roar that lets people instantly you know there's something special under the hood.
The transmission is a robust Stage 3 200-4R unit that delivers better ratios for performance driving, as well as overdrive comfort for calm highway cruising.
This feeds a limited-slip 3.
73 rear end with Moser axles for ideal all-around performance.
Plus, there's a full Hotchkis suspension upgrade, QA1 coilovers, subframe connectors, and a classic Herb Adams rear sway bar.
Power steering, grippy ZR-rated tires, and a Baer four-wheel disc brake package complete the full build that lets you handle this big power Pontiac with ease.
The sale comes complete with the original bill of sale, maintenance records, service manuals, build receipts, and plenty of photos documenting this Firebird's awesome transformation.
This is truly the kind of build that people never forget.
So if you want to start winning awards tomorrow, you need to call today!.
