As a Supervisory Program Support Specialist at the GS-0301-9, some of your typical work assignments may include:
Supervise daily operations, processes, and procedures to ensure loan applications and legal documents are correct, complete, and handled in a timely and efficient manner. Analyze and monitor all processes and procedures to ensure maximum production and quality by subordinates and the department. Prepare staffing and production reports reflecting the level of performance obtained and the capacity on individual and departmental basis. Makes recommendations for policy and procedural changes to enhance the department's overall functionality and increase efficiency, productivity and improve quality standards. Monitor and reconcile relative reports to ensure the IRS transcript ordering process is accurate and complete. IMPORTANT NOTES:
This is a Cadre position, which is a competitive service status position with a full-time seasonal work schedule. Although highly unlikely, depending on the level of disaster activity, you may be placed in a non-duty status if there is insufficient work. This would be extremely unusual and has not occurred in numerous years. Mandatory Overtime:
In order to respond quickly and efficiently to disaster survivors, substantial compensated overtime hours may be required while on assignment (up to seven days a week and ten to twelve hours a day). Must have held grade GS-7 for 52 weeks You may qualify based on experience, education or a combination of both.
Experience:
To receive credit, you must indicate the month and year as well as the average hours worked per week for each employer. Average work hours must be stated on the resume to quantify each period of work experience or that experience will not be credited toward meeting the specialized experience requirement. You must address the specific specialized experience required for each grade level of this position on your resume or application or you will be rated Ineligible for that grade level. GS-9:
To qualify you must have at least 1 full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the GS-7 level in the Federal service that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skill, and ability to perform successfully in this position. This experience may have been gained in a Non-Federal service position. In addition, this Specialized Experience must demonstrate the following:
Making decisions based on reconciliation of complete Federal Income Tax Returns to accept or reject personal and business IRS Tax Authorization request forms; AND Conduct compliance reviews utilizing multiple web-based processing/reporting systems; AND Analyzing Federal Income Tax Returns of individuals or businesses to determine the presence of other affiliated entities; AND Leading or supervising projects, or a team of employees; AND Communicating or collaborating with internal or external departments or agencies in joint efforts to meet a goal. In addition to the above specialized experience for the GS-9 level, applicants must indicate proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office programs, such as Word and Excel on their resume. OR

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
