Defense Research Analyst, Senior
Key Role:
Provide insight and advice concerning strategic direction and applicability of up-to-date, industry standard practices for the USMC KC-130 J/T and F-5 Type Model Series (TMS) teams. Serve as a senior advisor to the TMS team lead and provide support to the client on program or project operations involving TMS readiness. Serve as an action officer and main conduit to execute NAE activities across marine aviation and with the Navy. Plan, coordinate, and execute Type Model Series readiness reviews, action item resolution, and engage with TMS maintenance, logistics, and material support agencies. Analyze in-place business, operational, and financial processes and management relationships. Identify and recommend programmatic approaches to re-define, plan, organize, design, develop, and modify current practices and processes.
Basic
Qualifications:
15 years of experience with performing the foregoing functions in a complex and technically demanding project or task environment, including at least 12 years of experience in the applicable domain area required
Experience as a senior Commissioned Officer and senior level DoD government civilian required
Knowledge of naval aviation readiness, maintenance, and budget processes and policies
Ability to demonstrate a broad scope of expertise sufficient to support an entire domain of client operations-maintenance, supply chain management, and total force management
Ability to brief and interact with senior military and civil service leadership
Secret clearance required
BA or BS degree required

Experience with corporate management preferred
Clearance:
