Job Description :
F-35 Manufacturing Engineer for Forward Fuselage. Responsible for direct floor support of F-35 Forward Fuselage Production Operations. Develops and maintains Manufacturing Plans for F-35 Forward Fuselage Production Operations and provides inputs back into the build process for downstream SWBS'. Works to establish Root Cause Corrective Action for identified issues. Supports Forward Fuselage Performance Management Team. Creates, manages, and boards projects through MCCB and ARB for Rapid CRI or Affordability. Accomplishes revisions to reflect technical updates as needed. Coordinates with production operations and manufacturing supervision to ensure processing of aircraft through all SWBS phases. Works within established engineering databases to release and update baseline engineering and procedures. Must be able to rotate shifts and work alternate shifts as required. Some weekends and overtime required as a general standard in this position.
Must be a US Citizen or legally authorized to work in US as a permanent resident. This position is located at a facility that requires special access
Basic Qualifications
Must be able to read engineering blueprints & drawings; support equipment requirements and tool designs
Experience with tooling and assembly processes

F-35 Manufacturing Shop Floor Experience
Prior ME and Production Tooling Experience
Team Leadership Experience
Shop Floor Systems (CATIA V4/V5, PDM, VAS, CAPPS, QADs, SFM, EWI, Visio, Project)
Lean Principles knowledge and Root Cause Analysis knowledge
Problem solving skills, good written and verbal communication for interfacing with technical support team, build team, and internal and external customers
5th Gen Fighter aircraft Manufacturing Engineering experience
