Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Master Scheduler to support the Airborne Warning and Control Systems (AWACS) Division, which is within the USAF Digital Directorate and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.
LOCATION: Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA
JOB STATUS: Full Time
REQUIRED
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD OR, seven years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, five of which must be in the DoD.
Must possess journeyman level scheduling capability using MS Project Professional.
Extensive Microsoft Project Server experience is required.
Capable of leading and executing tasks associated with Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) planning, development, execution and analysis for complex weapon systems.
Demonstrated experience supporting and interacting on a daily basis with high level officials and ability to deliver products successfully in a fast paced environment (on demand).
Secret Clearance and U.S. Citizenship required for all applicants
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain Program Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using Microsoft Project Professional.
Plan, coordinate, and visualize all significant program activities and schedules developed and maintained within Division Programs.
Analyze trends, developing reports, facilitating communication and providing feedback on contractor performance.
Integrate the work of Government and contractor tasks and activities into a critical path schedule in a fast-paced, real time environment.
Provide critical path impact analysis and recommending conflict resolution actions as required to the Government Program Manager.
Identify and forecast scheduling trends, and provide recommendations to mitigate risks to program schedule.
Develop and provide project status presentations to Division senior leadership.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
