Expected salary range of $148,500 to $165,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).


PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION


Provide management of the engineering function of accountability for Constellation Power South Region Technical Service Department. Reports directly to Manager of Technical Services South region. Position will have direct reports.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES


  • Provide management of the engineering function with respect to station needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the performance and development of assigned engineering direct reports relative to site, regional and corporate objectives and provide focus on the attainment of high-quality engineering results.
  • Directly and through subordinates, fulfill engineering and technical leadership accountability regarding short-term and long-term programs that impact site and regional operations.
  • Accountable for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work ensuring proper configuration management and assuring that standard design criteria, practices and codes are used in preparation of plans and specifications.
  • Participate in Business Planning, Budget, and Business Performance review regarding assigned staff.
  • Participate as senior resource to fleet-wide programs and initiatives regarding standardized and enhanced engineering systems and processes.
  • Provide technical expertise and consultation through direct involvement to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
  • Perform duties of Manager of Technical Services as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • BS Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) or Licensed Professional Engineer
  • 10
    years Professional-Level Engineering experience.

  • Professional Engineering Registration
  • Advanced technical degree, MBA
  • 5 years Power Plant experience and/or Major component site technical advisor
  • People management experience

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
