Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team.
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations.
This is a physically demanding role that requires minimum heavy lifting and the ability to operate different types of vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a variety of vehicles, including vans - Load and unload goods and materials from the vehicle - Plan delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries - Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving - Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures or documentation - Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues - Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety protocols Skills:
- Valid driver's license - No experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role - Ability to operate different types of vehicles - Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations - Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries - Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and loading/unloading of goods (as needed) - Strong communication skills to interact with customers in a professional manner Note:
