Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the property management department - Develop and implement strategies to maximize property performance and profitability - Manage and maintain positive relationships with tenants, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely manner - Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and within budget - Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards - Utilize data entry systems to track and manage property information, including leases, rent payments, and maintenance requests - Collaborate with legal administrative staff to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations - Implement and maintain a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track work orders and preventive maintenance schedules - Oversee the administration of Section 8 housing programs, ensuring compliance with program guidelines - Develop and manage budgets for property operations, including rent collection, expenses, and capital improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred -Retail property management experience required -10
years' experience in property management required - Proven experience in property management or related field - Strong knowledge of customer relationship management principles - Familiarity with property maintenance practices and procedures - Proficient in data entry and computer software applications related to property management (e.
g.
, OneSite) - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Knowledge of facilities management best practices - Understanding of legal requirements related to property management Note:
