The Facilities Inspector is responsible for completing all Facilities inspections to ensure the highest quality workmanship throughout the hotel.
This position is also responsible for training associates in the facilities department ensuring all new hires and transfers are trained on the facilities standards.
This is a Full-time position.
$22.
75 per hour.
Weekend availability required.
Responsibilities Responsible for ensuring that all facilities standards are being maintained by having a thorough understanding of all standards.
Responsible for inspecting Facilities work orders.
Identify trends or issues in which employees may need additional training to meet the Facilities standards.
Ensure all new hires and transfers into the Facilities department are trained to the department standards.
Identify areas in which new or updated Facilities standards may be needed to ensure the highest quality of workmanship and assist in training the Facilities team on these standards.
Maintain written and/or verbal reports to Facilities managers.
Maintain a safe, clean and efficient workspace.
Responsible for maintaining inventory of tools in use.
Work in a safe manner including proper use of PPE and following safety protocols.
Responsible for correct use of maintenance request system.
Training provided.
Assist with maintenance requests for other trades, as needed.
Qualifications Previous supervisory or trainer experience preferred.
Knowledge and use of electronic technology such as iPhone, iPad, computers.
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, painting, and finishes.
Texas Driver's License with good driving record preferred.
