Food Service Workers NEEDED URGETLY
Full or Part time workers needed Paid weekly All black pants and shirt/ slip resistant shoes $14/hour Description:
Works primarily in the foodservice operation, handling cash and credit transactions from Sodexo customers.
Additionally, will assist in setup and serving of food from counters and steamtables.
Duties will include cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work stations.
As a cashier, must accurately operate the cash register/POS and complete the transactions.
Will also provide support to the retail operation, including setup, maintaining supplies and products, and assisting in cleanup and closedown.
General
Responsibilities:
o Operates a cash register (or equivalent), receives payments of cash, checks andcharges from customers or employees for goods or services, making change andissuing receipts or tickets to customers.
o Responsible for accurate ring of proper PLU for sale items and/or accuratebarcode scan.
o Provides the highest quality of service to customers at all times.
o Maintains proper security of cash at all times.
o Understands and follows Sodexo cash-handling policies and procedures.
o May assist in locating, reconciling and verifying the accuracy of transactions andoperate peripheral equipment that records and supports non-cash transactions.
o May also be required to prepare for service before the meal and clean the diningroom after the meal (wiping tables, vacuuming the floor, cleaning chairs, ensuringthe acceptable appearance of the dining area).
o May set up and stock the beverage area, grab and go items, service ware andcondiments or other assigned areas.
o Sets up stations with entrees, soups, salads, breads, condiments, other foodproducts and utensils.
o Serves and replenishes food from counters and steam tables (sometimes using aconveyor food belt), and breaks down stations at the end of meal periods.
o Cleans and sanitizes workstations, counters, steam tables and other equipment.
o Brews coffee and tea.
May be required to restock other beverage areas.
o Interacts with customers in the serving and dining areas.
o Assists customers with opening containers and cutting food when requested.
o Attends all allergy and foodborne illness in-service training.
o Complies with all Sodexo HACCP policies and procedures.
o Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
