The ideal candidate will have experience with deliveries and must possess their own vehicle, as well as a valid driver's license.
This position will require you to load and unload packages, drive set routes, and work in a warehouse environment.
A successful delivery driver/courier will own a cargo van, minivan or SUV.
Drivers are responsible for their own gas.
The driver's day starts and ends depending on their own productivity.
Weekends are available and needed right now.
Responsibilities:
Drive your own cargo van or other vehicle to transport packages to their destination Deliver 75-150 packages in an 8 hour day.
Stops 2-3 mins apart.
Load and unload packages from the vehicle Plan and follow set routes to ensure timely delivery of packages - Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status Adhere to all safety procedures and traffic laws Skills:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Excellent time management skills Strong communication skills Ability to work independently Ability to provide your own vehicle and pay for your own gas Job Types:
