You will perform a range of duties in human resources from recruiting, interviewing & training new hires to evaluating & retaining existing staff (rewards, recognition, appraisals and coaching.
Under the supervision of the owner, and in cooperation with the Scheduler & Client Care Coordinators, the HR generalist is responsible for creating a good first impression and preparing new hires for success thru our proprietary training program.
Comfort Keepers provides personal care and companionship to the elderly.
The service we provide enables seniors to live independently with a high quality of life.
This HR role has a significant impact on the agency's expansion plans, employee satisfaction and our reputation if we can deliver quality care! Hours will be somewhat flexible (8-6p) and commitment could range from 36-42hrs.
per week, averaging 40.
We conduct orientation and initial training two days a week - usually Tues.

As a 24/7/365 service provider sometime need to attract, contact, hire, train, then schedule new caregivers in our scheduling/operations software) Assist with drug testing, perf.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in Human Resources, with recruiting & training Previous experience in home health, home care, hospice, assisted living or other related medical fields 2 year degree (minimum) Basic knowledge of labor and employment laws Good communicator, ability to build rapport with all employees Strong organizational skills, detail oriented! Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to coach and correct employees Job Type:
