Human Resources SUMMARY A Recruiting Specialist's primary responsibility is managing the recruiting process from start to finish, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers.
This position will work with the hiring managers and the HR Senior Manager to understand the role requirements, develop job descriptions and postings, and manage the applicant tracking systems.
The Recruiting Specialist must also ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations and provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Developing job postings:
Collaborating with hiring managers to create job postings that accurately reflect the position's requirements and attract top talent.
Sourcing candidates:
Using various channels, such as job boards, social media, and professional networks, to identify and attract qualified candidates.
Screening candidates:
Reviewing resumes, cover letters, and other application materials to determine if candidates meet the job requirements.
Recruiting
Experience:
Conduct phone, video, and in-person interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and fit for the position.
Manage the candidate's experience, including scheduling interviews, providing feedback, and extending job offers.
Checking references:
Verifying candidate's employment history, education, and other qualifications through reference checks.
Negotiating job offers:
Working with the HR Senior Manager to develop and present competitive and attractive position offers to candidates.
Maintaining applicant tracking systems:
Keeping accurate records of candidate interactions and progress through the hiring process.
Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, including equal employment opportunity laws.
Building relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and other stakeholders to ensure a positive recruiting experience.
Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop job descriptions and requirements.
Continuous improvement:
Continuously improving the recruiting process by identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.

Qualifications:
Bilingual (Spanish/English) Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
Must be able to travel to all facilities.
EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
BS/BA degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, Human Resources, and Business Administration.
Experience recruiting for various roles and levels, including professional, technical, and leadership positions.
Experience with applicant tracking systems and other recruiting tools and technologies.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Able to bend and stoop for the purpose of filing.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
