JOB SUMMARY The Measurement Analyst is responsible for interpreting measurement data related to the production of natural gas.
This position applies practical job knowledge.
Usually works independently under general supervision and requires the ability to influence others in the work area by explaining facts, policies, and practices.
The problems faced are difficult but generally not complex.
RESPONSIBILITIES Job duties of a Measurement Analyst may include:
Manage and maintain FlowCal database.
Identify trends in flow data, make recommendations and implement improvements.
Communicate effectively and work to influence key stakeholders regarding policies, practices, and procedures.
Conduct inspections of flow measurement equipment to ensure system integrity and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Conduct research and analyze data for accurate forecasting; identify potential risks and implement solutions.
Responsible for the accuracy of daily production data and allocations.
May provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals and/or support employees.
Perform other duties as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS Experience with FlowCal and TestIT Measurement device experience Knowledge of the revenue accounting process Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment Work independently and collaborate as part of a team Interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills Attention to detail and organization skills Cognitive and problem-solving skills EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
Typically requires a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS This position is located at BKVs Fort Worth, Texas office.
Hybrid of indoor and outdoor working environments, depending on assignment.
Requires ability to perform repetitive motions, operate standard office equipment, potentially stand for long periods of time and engage in frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting items in excess of 20lbs.
May occasionally be exposed to distracting noise level while sharing office space with others.
Recommended Skills Accounting Attention To Detail Communication Coordinating Data Analysis Databases Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
