We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Business Development and Strategy.
You will be responsible for developing a business division strategy, identifying new initiatives, service areas, and industry trends, and increasing or establishing new business, creating go-to-market plans while also managing and evaluating initiatives through key metrics.
You will work closely with the division Executive Vice President and support our project managers, marketing, and sales groups.

Disclaimer:
The candidate selected for this position may work remotely full-time at a location other than a POWER-designated office/job site.
Employees may travel to a POWER office for periodic meetings.
In addition, you will collaborate with our corporate marketing and public relations team and our Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) to align our division strategies with corporate companywide strategies.
Detailed responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

Develop and implement go-to-market plans for our products and services
Identify new initiatives aligned with the company's strategic focus
Assist in achieving strategic goals outlined in the annual business plan by developing actionable strategies to achieve identified objectives and oversee their incorporation and execution
Develop processes to secure work through mechanisms like Master Service Agreements and supply chain qualifications for new clients
Oversee the development of strategies to secure the organization's connections and pre-qualification processes, including the negotiation of terms and conditions and rate schedules
Sales, Marketing, and Business Development:

Support the creation and execution of corresponding marketing plans and campaigns
Contribute to strategic proposal go/no-go decisions
Work closely with clients to understand their needs and goals and develop customized plans for new projects that align with their vision
Identify, select, and engage with potential clients
Expand client base systematically by working with project managers to initiate and track new engagements
Drive the pursuit of large strategic opportunities
Collaborate with other divisions in pursuing new clients and opportunities and on strategic objectives
Identify and attend conferences that support strategic objectives
Establish and maintain significant networks throughout the industry as a source of market information
Monitor and report on opportunities and projects through our Client Engagement system
Stakeholder and Client Relations:

Assist project managers in maintaining and expanding relationships with key clients, focusing on staff at managerial level or above
Develop a structured approach to account management to assist project managers and sales staff in retaining clients and achieving mutually beneficial goals
Identify appropriate regional and industry organizations and events for the company's involvement
Information Management and Communication:

Lead the ongoing identification and dissemination of crucial business information to support business development and strategic focus
Leverage market intelligence services to inform strategies
Identify and disseminate industry trends and information crucial to strategic decision-making within the company
Builds High Performing Teams:

Identify potential talent for recruitment to support the growth of our team
Assist in the continuous improvement of sales and proposal processes, including identifying and participating in relevant training Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or science is required

years of related post-graduate experience, including career experience in consulting engineering
Passionate leader with deep knowledge of the energy sector, specifically regarding emerging technologies and developments aimed at decarbonization and modernization of infrastructure.

Experienced in contributing to strategic planning, marketing, business development, and making key go/no-go decisions
Demonstrated ability to execute strategic plans and deliver results aligned with strategic goals
Demonstrated proficiency in identifying, developing, and managing key client relationships, expanding client base, and providing strategic client relationship management at various levels

That might seem contradictory to some, but it works for us!DOE Salary:
The pay range for this position is $160,000.
00 to $220,000.
00 annually; however, base pay may be higher or lower depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
This figure does not include additional compensation such as health benefits, vacation, 401k, etc.
