Sensor Fusion Engineering Manager

Job DescriptionThis position manages the E&T Sensor Fusion algorithm team in the MS Data & Fusion IPT.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of engineers developing unique and complex Sensor Fusion software that supports several Aero Lines of Business.
Responsibilities include:
oWork force management (re-assignments and placements, recruitment and selection of new employees and terminations) and personnel management (training, mentoring, career development, performance and compensation, and promotions).
oManagement responsibility will include significant collaboration with other LOB teams.
The successful candidate will be expected to support communications with all levels of employees, customers, and industry from engineer up to executive.
Strong skills in conflict resolution, proactive communication, building collaborative relationships and other soft skills are desired.
oSupport technical execution and leadership of agile software teams.
The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with previous experience managing similar groups of engineers.
The candidate must have a good understanding of agile software and will understand cost and schedule drivers for program execution while driving innovative and creative solutions.
Previous program management experience executing highly dynamic projects within short timelines while meeting/exceeding earned value objectives is desired.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Must be a US Citizen.
This position is located at a facility that requires special access and an Interim Secret clearance to start.
Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree required.
Agile Software development experience.
Experience with requirements analysis, and design, coding, test planning, unit-testing, and CSCI integration testing.
Experience as a technical lead where schedules were created, team members were tasked, and commitments/deadlines were met.
Must be a US Citizen.
This position is located at a facility that requires special access and an Interim Secret clearance to start.
Desired skillsF-35 or ADP SAP Clearances.
Experience with software development processes used on the F-35 or ADP Programs.
Knowledge of Sensor Fusion Software.
Earned Value Management experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-starter personality and ability to multi-task.
Experience in preparing and delivering briefings to Leadership.
Engineering team lead experience where employee development and mentoring was paramount.
Experience managing complex technical systems/programs.

Ability to work remotelyPart-time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Colorado Pay StatementPay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $123,500 - $236,800.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees:

67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay StatementPay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $142,100 - $267,600.
