SPM Oil & Gas, a Caterpillar company has an opening for a Sr AR Collections Analyst ( _internally known as Account Analyst)_ in Fort Worth, Texas or Houston, Texas.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing assigned accounts relating to billing and collections.
Job Duties Include but not limited to:
Collections
Monitor the accounts receivable and identify overdue accounts
Make 30-40 Calls/Contacts on past-due accounts
Contact customers with overdue accounts and attempt to either collect the overdue amount
Reconcile customer accounts
Issue credit notes
Create AR aging and metrics reports
Send Statement and Invoices
Update client billing information
Maintain documentation for compliance reporting and audits
Use D&B, internet searches, and other tools to try to locate customers who have moved or changed phone numbers
Maintain records of contacts and attempted contacts with delinquent account customers as well as records of any payments collected from the customer
Resolve customer issues and complaints concerning billing and tax
Prepare write-offs according to the department and company policies and procedures
Email missing invoices or statements
Review payments and short payments and resolve them promptly by requesting a credit memo or issuing a refund
Researching unapplied cash
Conduct payment research requests and respond to internal business partners
Other general responsibilities Basic Requirements:
7-10 years collections for B2B in a fast-paced, high-volume environment AND/OR combination of education Associates Degree or Bachelors degree and experience
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple and changing responsibilities
Intermediate Excel skills, Microsoft Word, Outlook
Display effective interpersonal skills with all levels of employee
Commitment to excellence in customer service
Proven successful results, in meeting or exceeding established collections goals resulting in a reduction of DSO and Bad Debt Top Candidates Will Also Have:
Familiar with Open Invoice, Ariba, Cortex, or similar customer billing portals Nice to have
Ability to communicate verbally positively and effectively and in writing
Strong integrity and work ethic are critical; as is the ability to have fun and work in an engaging, highly collaborative team environment Additional Details:
