Job Responsibility:
Travel to customer locations to install, maintain, diagnose, and repair wide format digital print systems.
Interact directly with the customers and effectively communicate work performed and resolutions to customer issues.
Coverage area will require travel, but very rarely overnight.
Technician must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
Experience with electromechanical and/or printer/plotter equipment is preferred.
New hire will train with existing technician in this territory, receive classroom training and multi-level technical support.
Desired Skills &
Experience:
Field Service Experience Wide format printers and/or plotter knowledge.
PLC Experience.
Diagnosing down to board level.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to communicate effectively with the customer in a user-friendly language.
Knowledge of PC hardware and software systems.
Networking knowledge is a plus.
Oce/HP/Canon experience is a plus.
Ability to self-manage time and travel.
Little supervision required Willingness to travel to equipment certification/training as needed Commitment to customer satisfaction and retention.
Strong and effective decision-making skills needed to prioritize workload.
