Develops, writes, and maintains CNC programs.
Initiates and performs technical activities associated with assignment leading to improvements of existing processes or technologies which have significant impact on manufacturing results.
Maintain equipment and cleanliness of the work area.
Able to follow instructions and work unsupervised.
Any other duties assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Vocational school or 1-3 years of related work experience preferred (Graphic Design, Production, Mechanical Engineering, CNC Programming) Practical skills in vector drawing software required (FlexiSign, CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator) Practical skills in CNC toolpathing software and 3D modeling CAD software highly preferred (EnRoute, Solidworks, AutoCAD) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to read and interpret art, designs, technical drawings, blueprints and models.
Keen eye for detail and foresight to proof and catch potential issues and errors.
Strong organizational skills, willingness to adapt to changing priorities of fast-paced work environment, and professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.
Read, write, and speak English Ability to think outside the box and consider all aspects of the design process.
Works well in a team and independently and also be self-motivated.
Excellent problem solving, attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
Able to design or redesign drawings from general written or verbal specifications Working knowledge of various measuring tools required Physical Requirements May be required to sit for 80 % of the work schedule and standing while meeting with others and/or to inspect quality of cut parts.
May involve some repetitive motions.
