Summary:
Oversees all mechanical areas of the Club facility and the grounds to keep the Club functioning at top efficiency.
Assist the Chief Engineer to select, train, and supervise the engineering/porter staff.
Job Tasks Prepares and distributes the department schedule monthly and posts any changes each Friday.
In absence of the Chief Engineer, prepares the daily porter duties and schedules workloads and work orders for all areas of the club and its equipment.
Conducts daily pre-shift and post-shift meetings with the porters.
Maintain the uniform account for the porters.
In the absence of the Chief Engineer, attends the weekly Food and Beverage meetings (Thursdays at 2:
00 pm) as scheduled and coordinates efforts to schedule work activities.
Coordinates with the Chief Engineer and planners to coordinate the remodeling of various areas of the club.
Repair the Club's furniture, fixtures and equipment.
Contacts outside vendor if necessary.
Coordinates with Chief Engineer to procure parts and items needed for maintenance, completion of work orders and general departments.
In absence of the Chief Engineer, maintain the club swimming pools throughout the year and checks on swimming/whirlpool water and filtering systems for positive health protection on a daily basis.
In absence of the Chief Engineer, assists in checking fire protection systems for proper operation and training personnel.
In absence of the Chief Engineer, manages the Club's on-going preventative maintenance program.
In absence of the Chief Engineer, schedule the HVAC controls based on banquet events on a weekly basis.
In absence of the Chief Engineer, execute any work order at the South Course Clubhouse.
Performs miscellaneous maintenance responsibilities and all other areas in which the Assistant General Manager requests.
