The Production Technician is responsible for the gluing, assembly, counting, and production of tritium materials according to established standards and requirements to meet customer and company expectations.
Essential Job Functions:
Accountable for and ensuring a clear understanding of quality output/production of parts assembly in meeting company goals Responsible for the assembly and production of tritium materials Perform production and assembly of parts in a safe manner adhering to all Safety policies Function as a member of a work team by contributing and initiating quality, safety, and productivity ideas to propose processes and procedures for improvement Adhere to all quality standards and guidelines Uphold an awareness of and correct application of changes to assembly procedures Maintain and complete documentation paperwork as necessary Always demonstrate attention to detail Accountable for and priority in counting and inventory management Ability to use fingers/hands to perform repetitive assembly of small parts for extended periods of time Communicate appropriately to avoid unplanned downtime, including informing team members of problems, trends, etc.

Qualifications:
Per Federal Law and due to XS being a manufacturing facility in the firearms industry, all XS employees are required to legally be able to own a firearm, possess a firearm, or purchase a firearm Good vision and able to see raw materials and parts for safe assembly/production dealing with small parts Must be able to sit in a relatively stationary position 75% of the time Ability to lift and carry up to 10 lbs Capacity to use repetitious motion and ability to grasp parts/tools for extended periods of time Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining all required work tasks and keeping management appraised of company metrics and goals Experience with ERP systems and the Microsoft Suite Possess common math skills Hight level of organizational aptitude Ability to work efficiently in both an individual and teamwork environment Ability to view challenges visually and mechanically Possess the ability of repetitious action with fine motor skills and hand tools Work Environment:
Employee works in a typical machine shop environment and office environment.
The office environment will remain gun friendly and gun safe.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate however some loud noises occasionally occur.
