3 Full-time 4 hours ago Full Job Description UTILITY TECHNICIAN II MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS To assist operator with packaging equipment and related line equipment with the understanding and proficiency that will ensure production at or above established rates and within quality standards and safety guidelines.
Be able to assist on, relieve and operate all packaging equipment, set up and perform change overs, and minor adjustments on the line equipment as per SOP Operate forklift machinery as required for material handling duties Backfill for Palletizer and/or Blender helper as needed, including forklift duties Backfill for Machine Operators as needed to cover peak production periods, absences, vacations and working breaks.
Perform assigned laboring jobs such as packaging, sweeping and salvage reclaim (product rework).
Pack product into cartons, cases and/or load on to pallets as required.
Assist the machine operator with troubleshooting and problem solving of the line equipment as required Knowledge of SOPs related to safety, cleaning, machine operation, quality Follow instruction provided by the machine operator, supervisor and/or lead Assist the operator with the sanitation duties, quality checks, and safety checks of the line equipment.
Ensure equipment is adequately supplied with the correct amount of material needed for each shop order.
Ability to communicate with all departments regarding operations.
Keep work area clean and tidy Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Demonstrate the ability to lead by example, with a can do and positive attitude The ability to understand, follow and perform safety procedures and requirements Identify continuous improvement opportunities on the lines.
The ability to use assigned tools required to complete tasks and minor adjustments to equipment.
Possess the ability to perform necessary tasks by reaching, lifting, and standing when required.
Fluency in English, both written and verbal Basic mathematical skills Willing to learn and develop Manufacturing Best Practices Able to work flexible hours (overtime and periodic weekends required) Ability to handle conflicts and provide resolutions Understands right first time quality Shows initiative, takes directions and executes plans efficiently Must possess technical aptitude.
Technical background an asset.
Some computer experience preferred Demonstrate safe work habits and excellent work ethics Accuracy and detail oriented Work well independently and as a team member Knowledge of SOPs cleaning, start up, safety, operation, quality Good organizational skills Must successfully complete training on required operating equipment and processes Minimum Grade 12 graduate Valid forklift license an asset 2nd Shift 2:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
