Responsibilities:
The Envoy Compliance Manager reports to the Director of HR Operations and assures compliance with the Airline's equal opportunity and affirmative action policies and programs.
The Envoy Compliance Manager is both a strategic adviser and a hands-on manager for reasonable accommodation processes and related services at Envoy Manage the administration and operation of the accommodation process in collaboration with internal and external partners and stakeholders Oversee the reporting functions, inquiries, evaluation, assessment, and resolution of requests for disability (all employees) and religious accommodations Facilitates the interactive process discussions with the employee to properly address the potential need for a reasonable accommodation(s) following Title VII, Americans with Disabilities Act, as amended, and other laws Determines if there are any other alternative reasonable accommodations to be considered.
This requires problem-solving, creativity, and thinking outside of the box Coordinates the implementation of the approved accommodation and follows up with the employee to ensure that the accommodation is effective Participates in assessing on a case-by-case basis whether a particular reasonable accommodation would cause an undue hardship Ensures required notifications are sent timely and each accommodation is appropriately documented Maintains accurate records of accommodations following applicable law and Envoy policy Develops and conducts training on the accommodations process for HRBPs, Managers, and others as necessary Partners with other internal teams to support specific initiatives in areas such as accessibility or Diversity & Inclusion, to ensure an inclusive workplace Responsible for all compliance activities associated with accommodation processes Identify and communicates accommodation request trends to Envoy Leadership Evaluates current accommodation processes to ensure continuous process improvement, increase the quality of service delivery, and identify and implement potential efficiency gains Assure confidentiality of all information following applicable law and Envoy policy Monitors and evaluates compliance with state and federal regulations Assures, in conjunction with various stakeholders, seamless interface between disability-related accommodations, FMLA leave, Workers' Compensation benefits, and other leave and benefit policies Researches, analyzes, and interprets applicable laws and regulations relative to assigned area of responsibility and make recommendations based on findings Performs other related duties as assigned Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in Human Resources, Business, or related field Legal/Compliance Experience Preferred Knowledge of applicable Federal and State laws and regulations Familiarity with current best practices and a working knowledge of emerging issues in equity and compliance Analytical skills necessary to interpret and apply policies, practices, procedures, and relevant regulations Experience conducting research, analyzing information and data, and presenting findings in a clear and concise format Excellent judgment with the ability to manage highly sensitive, confidential data and information Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a wide array of audiences and to do so with appropriate sensitivity Strong organizational and time management techniques with the ability to prioritize and complete work with firm deadlines Excellent interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to listen well and demonstrate sensitivity to and respect for individual needs Ability to take the initiative, multi-task, and work well under pressure Willing to take ownership of a project from onset through completion Honest, with the highest level of personal and professional integrity Flexible and open-minded, yet able to stand one's ground when necessary Collaborative style that fosters cooperation and involvement Ability to resolve conflict and mediate difficult situations Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills required Please note:
