8 2 hours ago Full Job Description Qualifications Job Overview:
Under general direction of the Capital Planning Manager, participates in the processing, maintaining, and reporting of the Board's financial information.
Related responsibilities include professional-level work in governmental accounting, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
Establishes and maintains capital project databases; works with departments on issues related to capital project budgeting and reporting; Exercises initiative, judgment, and discretion in the execution of responsibilities within the constraints of generally accepted accounting principles and Board policies and procedures.
What you will be doing:
Develops and maintains P6 schedules and reports to track, reconcile, and provide periodic reporting of financial information.
Performs accounting, applying appropriate principles, practices, and procedures when recording, maintaining, adjusting, and balancing financial records.
Abstracts data from established accounts, summary ledgers, and detail ledgers and prepares comprehensive, accurate, concise reports and financial schedules, including supporting documentation.
Maintains database codes and fields to allow for analysis and reporting of key project data as support for senior Financial Management.
Ensures accurate and timely administration and reporting of capital projects, capital budgeting and short- to long-term capital forecasting and planning for review and action by senior management.
Conducts financial analysis of, capital project cash flows, capital project initiation/completion, which serves as key decision support for senior Financial Management for the timing and size of future bond issues, and financial impacts on key airport financial metrics.
Coordinates the collection, verification and analysis of financial and operational data to support various project initiatives, such as benchmarking various types of activities and services, evaluation/cost justifications of proposed capital projects and other special projects.
Provides support for the Financial Planning Outlooks and annual budgets, Financial Plan updates, CAFR, and annual audit.
What you need:
Bachelor's degree in account, business, or a related field.
Three (3) years of administrative and/or accounting experience involving computerized management systems.
Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
Possession of a valid class C driver's license.

P6 or other scheduling software experience Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business.
