The PowerBI Specialist - North America is a passionate and talented Power Business Intelligence (BI) Developer who creates, and manages BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge.
The successful candidate will have a background in data and business analysis.
The position requires strong analytical and communication skills.
The PowerBI specialist will also have business acumen and problem-solving aptitude.
The role focuses on enhancing our business intelligence system to enable better decision-making at WFS.
The position requires experience in Power BI as well as equivalent solutions such as Tableau, Qlikview, MicroStrategy, Cognos, or Spitfire.
Experience with data visualization, interactive dashboards, ad hoc reporting, and data modeling tools along with experience in transactional but also dimensional querying tools is also required.
This role will report directly to the Project Management Office, North America Responsibilities Translate business needs to technical specifications Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.
g.
reporting tools) Maintain and support data analytics platforms Collaborate with the team to evaluate and improve existing BI systems Design, develop, deploy, and maintain Power BI reporting solutions.
Connect to data sources, import data, and transform data for BI.
Create reports, dashboards, KPIs, and visualizations from data for requested projects.
Integrate Power BI reports into other applications as needed.
Write and execute queries upon request for data.
Continuously improve performance and reliability of reports.
Recommend additional options for reporting and analytics.

Required Skills and Abilities Experience with next-generation BI solutions such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar Familiarity with Data modeling and ETL tooling Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude BSc/BA in Computer Science, Informatics, Business Intelligence, Engineering, or relevant field Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate and interact effectively at both technical and business levels.
Three or more years of experience in designing and delivering BI reporting solutions.
Strong knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Power BI, and ETL solutions.
Strong experience in developing visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards.
1-2 years' experience with Python or similar language 1-2 years' experience with 1 or more SQL languages.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
