4 Quick Apply Full-time 1 day ago Full Job Description This role is responsible for updating and maintaining the RCM NextGen Practice Management training program including implementation, training and educational support.
This includes Care Centers, CBO, and RCM staff.
The trainer will perform upgrade testing and training as requested.
The trainer will train new care centers during implementation and train new PTLs as identified below.
This role is also responsible for maintaining designated NextGen File Maintenance tables to utilize the system effectively.
This position will support the Revenue Cycle Management team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain comprehensive, effective, and user-friendly practice management training programs.
Provide hands-on instruction to end-users at the corporate office and/or care centers as needed.
Develops and implements training feedback documentation for attendees to utilize; adjust training agenda and approach based on feedback from attendees and management.
Assist with testing new features and functionality as needed/requested.
Provides support for new implementations.
Provide post-implementation advanced training as requested.
Translate workflow design and process decisions into training content as needed.
Maintain file maintenance settings in NextGen:
payer profiles, provider profiles, SIM codes, NDC library, groups employers, and locations.
Perform sampling and report discrepancies in system functionality.
Prepare recommendations for process improvement opportunities.
Resolve file maintenance tasks within SLA timeframes.
Facilitate the identification and communication of new RCM-related functionality in future versions of NextGen.
Attend weekly meetings as assigned and ad-hoc meetings as needed Work collaboratively with peers and senior management to ensure business needs are being met.
Maintain confidentiality of all information; adhere to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
Perform all other duties and tasks assigned by the manager.
Requirements include:
Minimum of two years working in a practice setting Minimum of three years prior experience in use and or implementation of practice management systems Demonstrated working knowledge of outpatient practice operations, including clinical, clerical, and billing operation workflow Must have strong customer service skills and be able to establish a rapport with physicians and staff at all levels of the organization Ability and willingness to work flexible hours to meet staffing needs.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
required) Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be able to handle multiple concurrent jobs Must be able to travel to multiple office locations in the greater DFW area Must have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance Required
