30PM) Pay $17/hr plus bonus opportunity every four weeks - Sunday hours paid at shift premium! AgBiTech specializes in developing, manufacturing, and commercializing environmentally safe biological insecticides.
As an Insectary Production Assistant you would be working alongside a team on a custom-designed production line to maintain our large colonies of moths and caterpillars.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
Work with the team completing a variety of functions required to successfully rear a healthy colony of moths and caterpillars Work with customized machinery used in the production process Accurately follow Standard Operating Procedures Assist the team in maintaining a clean work environment, regular cleaning in the Insectary is required Monitor and adhere to workplace health and safety requirements The successful candidate will:
Have the ability to work accurately and efficiently Possess strong attention to detail Follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures Have a willingness to work in a team environment and independently Have a positive attitude and the ability to get along well with others Ability to contribute to process improvement Physical Requirements:
Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling May be required to frequently lift up to 60 lbs Comfortable wearing a respirator in a warm/humid environment for prolonged period of time Hand dexterity and strength AgBiTech offers competitive pay, employer provided employee only benefits or a monthly contribution to employee plus family benefits, 401(k)plan with company match, and generous PTO policy.
