Description:
Develop and provide technical Subject Matter Expertise (SME) as required across all areas of Flight Test Instrumentation technology as required. Support FTI System Design as required to identify new FTI hardware to satisfy new FTI requirements. Support Development and Integration of new FTI Hardware as required. Support Development of Checkout procedures for Group B FTI Hardware as required. Assist and Lead Package Checkout activities across all programs within the IRAC Lab as required. Assist with troubleshooting / diagnosing FTI anomalies at the Aircraft in Fort Worth. Support the FTI Transducer Selection and Calibration operations in cooperation with the Metrology organization. Support configuration and development activities on IRAC Lab Computers, including configuration and SW development (LabVIEW) as required. Support configuration and troubleshooting of FTI Laptop computers as required. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. A level 4 employee Typically has 9 - 15 years of professional experience. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience - Experience with Airborne/Ground Data Systems design & Specification - Computer operations and troubleshootingexperience - Airborne transducers selection and calibration experience - Experience with software development and programming of specialized lab hardware Desired Skills:
- Engineering Lab experience - Experience with on aircraft systems troubleshooting - Flight Test Instrumentation System Design & Operations - JSF Program Familiarity/experience - Excellent communication skills - Team player Other Important Information You Should Know
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
